Harley
studied business at Texas Tech University and the University of
Texas at El Paso. He is an Army Aviation veteran that served in
Southeast Asia during the Vietnam Conflict. He started flying
at the age of 15 and has been involved with all phases of the
aircraft business, including two years as a corporate pilot. He
owned an airport and fixed base operation with two aircraft distributorships
along with FBO, maintenance, parts and sales operations for many
years. He holds a multi-engine Airline Transport and Commercial
Helicopter Ratings with over 10,000 hours flying experience in
various types of jets and general aviation aircraft. His hobbies
are flying air shows, boating and playing bogie golf on weekends.
